need help

I have a '71 bronco...302, small cam , edelbrock 600 4barrel..my vehicle ran fine yesterday, today I was gonna take it for a ride...engine cranked right up, revved good, but want idle....ive checked for vacuum leaks, fuel filter and a few other things.....recent tune up....but im stumped , what should I check now or what do you think the problem might be?

Sounds like trash in the idle circuit of the carb. Take off the air cleaner and hold the trottle up a little with one hand and then cover the air horn with your other hand until the engine almost stalls. Repeat this a few times. This will usually suck the trash on through and clear out the jets/circuits. If not you may have to take the carb apart and clean it out.

thanks Justafordguy....I did end up taking the carb apart...looked like the fuel filter wasn't doing its job...cleaned up carb and put on a new fuel filter...everything is good now...thanks again
