Hi

I have a 69 Bronco that PO had eliminated temp control valve, so my cable is connected to nothing in the engine compartment. I have ordered a new valve but would like to see how it should be mounted/connected under the hood. Which hose does it go too(intake or water pump) how is the valve mounted for the cable to pull?

Any help is appreciated.

To dark for me to get a pick up, but your going to intercept the hose from the top of the water pump. i ran the line between the valve cover and the carb. the valve sits about at the back of the carb then the hose shoots over to the heater core.

I have the heater hose wedged between the coil and the intake mani. its tucked down there and you can hardly see it.

I have seen it ran a couple of ways but cant recall exactly how they did it.
who knows, my way could be totally wrong ha Goodluck!!

Thanks, I see the cable coming out from the firewall and just want to make sure the valve can be switched with the cable without the hose itself moving.

Appreciate the help.
