What do you mean be "dark moldings? Frame will be made from Aluminum stock, So the bare AL stock is "silver" in color. is that what your looking for?
Planning on painting them a "satin flack finish" (like the aftermarket ones)

Yep, silver color. Not interested in the current craze of black or dark colored trim.

Not sure exactly what "satin flack finish" means.

Did you mill that aluminum? I would've though there would be extruded aluminum stock to buy in bulk and then cut to size and fit glass and whatnot.
If you're milling it yourself, good on you. I would think high manufacturing cost?
I thought my bronco sliders were the exact same stock as my aftermarket rear slider I installed in my mid 80's f-250 way back when, but there's a good chance I have been wrong. To be fair, I didn't look that close at either, they just appeared to be the same product, made for a different opening.
Either way, nice!

Cutting from 1" x 3/4" bar stock, Extrusions can be found with 2 groves on top, but the key is the bottom tab (that fits in the rubber gasket where the glass edge would go).
I need to invest in a milling machine. Really hoping some purchase's here can help with my ROI. I cut this on my table saw with a non ferrous blade, but its it accurate enough for me, and I'll lose a finger if I keep it up....

you need a horizontal mill and 2 cutters do do that operation efficiently. but time and materials are too expensive. Did you get the link for extrusion I sent you by private Mail?

Yep, got your E-Mail, Thank You, but nothing matches the profile needed, going to get a bench mill. Once I make sure the table is perpendicular to the head column, I can run a 3/16 end mill down the length twice for the glass runners and flip it and cut the tab for the rubber groove...

use two slot cutters on an arbor with the appropriate spacer between them works for both sided use a spray mist the cuts will be much cleaner than and end mill cutting through its own waste.
