Ok, so my 69 Sport came radio delete, and after almost a year of thinking about it and putting it off, its time to do something. I'd rather not mount anything under the dash in an attempt to keep the stock look. I see now that the new IPOD Gen 5 comes with FM reception now and thats pretty cool. Is there a pre-amp that I can hook the Ipod into and install some speakers?

Crewzin, any suggestions?

Thats exactly what you can do. Get a nice 4 channel amp and run your ipod off of that. Some folks on here just mounted the headphone jack in their dash - looked great - let me see if I can find it...

Mounted amp under passenger seat, ran jack cord to my zune (has FM too) up through the fold in seat (bench) and walaa. I didnt want to cut into my dash either. Just get good quality speakers. The "geek squad" guys at best buy helped me figure it out
