hey guys, new here. I am not familiar with the EB at all, other than I wanted one with a 1/2 top since I was about 10 years old.

I happen to stop by my neighbors the other night and I saw a EB in his barn. I asked if I could look at it and he said sure. I was amazed at how clean it was. I am in NE PA and EVERYTHING rots to nothing here.

It is a 76 "ranger". I never even knew that they offered a Ranger pkg on a bronco. 302 w a auto. Orange with white stripes and a white top. Tan interior. Also has a Western plow on it. He is the second owner. He bought it in 79 w 23k on it. It nows has 53k.

I asked if he ever thought about selling it, I would be interested. He said he might. I asked him how much, he didn't have any idea what it was worth.

the next day i went back and looked at it again, A lil better look revealed some small rust bubbles starting where the rocker meets the quarter. But that was the only rust i saw. I again asked what he would want for it, he still had no idea. I offered 3500. He said he would think about ti and get back to me after hunting season.

Engine and trans are wet with oil(no big deal to me)

Still has original hub caps and everything.

What do you guys think it would be worth?

It looks just like the one in this pic(not actual one)
It is just covered in dust and a bed sheet

Bitchin'. Grab it for anything under 5K unless it's "really" solid then it may be worth far more.
A little bit rusty, uncut, but runs good '76 could get real pricey so be ready.

Your Neighbor must be a retired Firefighter from California since he has the Firefighter plate from CA...

If he looks on-line he will see big $$$ signs and you might be priced out.

If it is "Really clean" then anything under $10K would be a steal...

Post above: Well that explains a lot, that it is just a sample photo............

If the Bronco you are looking at has the same stripes as the one in the picture, I believe that would be the Explorer edition instead of the Ranger.

If it is anywhere close to decent, anything less than 7k would be a very good deal. This should allow plenty of room to upgrade tires and normal maintenance stuff it will need after sitting. Depending in just how nice could easily be 15k with engine and trans addressed.
