Welcome! I am getting close to wrapping up my frame off build (finally). Best advice I can give is to put your parts in containers and label them, put them together somewhere they won't get moved. I am still looking for parts I know I have, they are in a safe place, just can't remember where I put them.
Good luck with your build and post up lotsa pics!

Verify in what month your Bronco was built, then find an engine that has a casting date from 1 to 3 months prior to that and you should be good to go. At least as far as making it close to original. If you're only going for "period correct" than any 170 should fit the bill.

Good luck on the build. And have fun!

PS: If you have not already started ordering catalogs from the various vendors, PM me your address and I'll at least get one of ours (Wild Horses) headed your way.
Sales pitch maybe, but hey, ya gotta start somewhere!
