Finally put my one pc gasket on the 302.What a pain, you would think it should be a easy job WRONG!!! 7 HRS later finally done. If I have to do this again the stock pan is going back on, this 7 quart pan made it twice as hard, even with a 3.5 inch lift it was not high enough, had to hook my engine hoist to the front and lift it and it still was a pain, then track bar off, plus starter, and then exhaust had to came out. Started it up no leak so far I'll cross my fingers. Did find oil that is made for the older cams, made by Lucas oil.

When Idid the pan gasket on the 66 with a 351 I jacked it up with a high lift on the front bumper. Had to pull the front driveshaft, otherwise went in pretty good.

So far no leaks, I'm very impressed with the one pcs gasket. I still put silicone at all for corners like a four pcs, I figured it can't hurt!!Been driving in 86 degrees weather and its held up good so far.

I have been using the one piece pan gaskets for a couple of years and will never go back big difference especially if you do a cam swap after no need to mess with the pan gasket or those stupid little cork pieces that come in cam swap gasket kits.

I put the one piece pan gasket on my Windsor back in like......'91.....I think those one piece pan gaskets were pretty new (for sbf anyway) and expensive back then....
Absolutely no leaks for 23+ years...

Ditto, also been running them since early 90's without any issues. I also use the thick moroso valve cover gaskets, they were the only ones that permanently sealed my valve covers. A little pricey but well worth it.
