More than likely he is subscribed to this thread under a pseudo user name, so bumping it sent him an email, he read it and fled. Shouldve started a new thread or kept it internal via PMs.

I have a few questions. Why aren't there any warrants for this guy's arrest? If there are, why wasn't he arrested in the last 48 hours? And if he's still in the same area, why hasn't someone found him before now?

Well because I too busy today to think about him. I will tell me cop buddy that hw is in Washington again. My county doesn't want to spend the money to go after him, where willing to start a case of Internet fraud crime and use him as an example. I would love to put him on a rope.
