I especially like Jeepster's drill method. I recall wanting to do that the first time I tried to remove my ignition switch...and it wasn't because I didn't have the key. :)

Cool, those switches can be a real bear!

Just how "tech" does a tech article need to be? I've got an idea because of a b-day gift from my wife but I don't think its really technical at all.

Go ahead and email or PM me first just to be safe. My general rule of thumb is that it's a tech article if it's not already covered in the repair manual. (or not covered very well)
