When restoring a 6 cylinder bronco, If I replaced the 6 cylinder core support with a new v8 core support and used a v8 radiator, would that take away from it being a restoration? Also, would power steering added, take away from it being a restoration? Thanks

If you are trying to restore to original OEM, yes it takes away from the restoration.

If you building the Bronco the way YOU want it (Which is what 99% of people do) than no, it doesn't take away from it.

Every EB has it's own personality.

I agree, It depends how "pure" you want to be. I dont think you need to be that "pure" with a Bronco.

Chances are you're NOT building a concourse show vehicle. If you're concerned about the radiator and core support, then you truly would have to be concerned with the " nuts and bolts"> You would have to use factory spec. OEM nuts, bolts, clips, and tags. If you're not going to that extreme, Don't worry about the other stuff. Keep it uncut, nice paint, factory seats and steering wheel, and most everyone will call it a restoration!

Make it YOUR bronco
