Nice compliment...

I drove my '77 to Lowe's on my wife's advice this afternoon. I parked close to garden center exit, next to an H3. I bought some bags of river stone and made my way back to my truck.

While I was loading the stone into the truck, the H3 owner walked over to me after she loaded her purchases. She told me that she loves my bronco and always wanted one. She went on to say that she lived close to the beach and the bronco guys were always out having a great time on the sand.

(BTW, went exploring the unfinished areas next to Lowe's after the ego boost. Found some great little dirt roads back there.)

Love my truck.

It's always nice to hear compliments like that. There has been several times I've gone to a store and walked back out to find someone taking pics with a cellphone. It always leads into a good conversation too.

This is great. It makes you feel good. I don't think my EB is the best, or worht a lot of compliments, but I get them several times a week. It keeps me motivated to keep the thing looking decent. That is the great thing about EB's no matter what shape they are in, people still appreciate them.

I seem to get the most compliments at hardware stores - must be the demographic.

I did have someone yell out to me at a stoplight the other day "Man, I wish FORD could see that!"

I think he got it just about perfect. ;D
