While we are on the subject, does anyone have issues #1,2,7 or 8 that they would like to sell? I seem to be missing these issues and would like to complete my collection. I have extra copies of #13 & 17.

Oh yeah, I still enjoy each new issue when it comes. I just started going back and re-reading old issues. It's kind of fun, I've forgotten what was in the older issues so it's kind of like a new issue all over again. Maybe I just have a bad memory? ?:?

Hey does anyone have issues #1,2,7 or 8 that they would like to sell?

Still waiting on mine, although some in my area have already gotten theirs! So, shouldn't be too much longer for mine to arrive -- if the postal lady doesn't read it first! Doc

I owned a few EBs but had to sell them when the wife was in school. Since then she has graduated and I have picked up a rust free 78 bronco. I wish I had a EB ut like most any other car/truck hobbie things start to get out of reach for some.

My short point is I love the EBs and the 78/79 BB's. I don't care much for the BB after 79 and the BII's I've never had any interest in. I have never put down any other model or interest of another. I actual find interest in learning what others are doing out there with other trucks or cars.

I don't subscribe to the mag but I think I need to.

The mustang mags out there cover more than just mustangs. The mustang crowds are lucky in that they have far more people in the hobbie than the Bronco groups so they have choices in the mags they buy which cover more closely to the model they prefer.

If we don't stick together and try to build a mag for the broncos then we may never get to the point of having the volume of interest like the mustang crowds and then moving on to maybe more spefic model coverage.

The mag I feel is more intend to reach the new people out there and get them involved in the bronco hobbie. I think the mustang mag is the same way. Like others I already have learned or can learn what I need in the forums.

By the way I started my 78 BB because I got a really good deal on it as I did on the EB's I had owned. If I could find a good deal on an EB I would sell off the BB to build it. I still visit this site in hopes of finding a good deal on an EB.

Well I'm new to the bronco world and was looking forward to subscribing. But I know what you mean. As a Jeep guy I was excited several years ago when a new mag came out called "JP". It was exclusively Jeeps and had tech stories, restorations stories, trail stories. It was very different than any othe magazine out there. Then a few years ago it was bought up by Petersons (who also own Peterson's, Four Wheeler, etc.) and the stories became reprints of those found in their other magazines. Very disappointing.

I checked out Bronco Driver subscription this week. They have a package deal where you get a t-shirt if you get 12 issue subscription, but if you look at the price it is $12 more than buying two years of 6-issue subscriptions. WTF. They should be giving out t-shirts to promote their mag, not charging $12 extra.....

... in the period between 1988 and 1996 I spent $14,000 at Toms( and have the recipts) ,

Damn, it took you 8 years to spend that? That's less than $2K a year? ;)

My 2005 parts receipts from various EB suppliers was about double that.

Anyway, I'm not sure what relavance this has to the topic at hand, but I do like having a Bronco only magazine. No, I don't read it cover to cover, but I do skim it for anything of personal interest. Sometimes there's little, sometimes a lot.

I've only contributed a few times since I just never seem to have enough time to work on "extra" things like that as much as I'd like. I'm wondering how many who complain have contributed?

Sure, the BB's and BII's are of little interest to many of us who only care about EB's, but the 43 BB and BII subscribers want some ink as well! ;D Also, sure it it hard to read at times because of the lack of editing, but it's reader generated content, so maybe some of us need to use spell check more often and get a better grasp on the english language?

Either way I'm glad that Tom and the gang stepped up to make this magazine available.

I like it, as was already stated, support it or won't be there long. I think the magazine is great.
