Overall I like BD. I've dealt with them on the phone and via email and have had good response from people that actually seem to give a chit. Their articles aren't the same old thing as the main stream mag's. I'm not a fan of any Bronco that doesn't have a solid front axle - but so what? It's not called EB magazine and the articles are mostly written by us enthusiasts. Not bad beginnings for what they've been trying to do.

And I'm not talking to the world traveler here, don't want him thinking I was telling him what to do.

I do and will subcribe because I am a Bronco fanatic. I agree with the comment about all mags fall into a "routine" after a while in circulation.

Having owned 2 big Broncos in the past, I am not offended by that content. My 1986 Bronco XLT with the 351W was the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Today it seems that most 4 wheel mags focus so much attention on the Jeep crowd, it is nice to see a mag focused on my beloved Bronco.

I have to admit I too have let BD down by not submitting an article. I did write to them telling them I needed to see fewer J##ps and H#$$ers in the mag but I also told them my story would by on its way. That was about a year ago. I keep saying I'll write it when its done. Its never, never, never done.
I will write to BD soon. Look for the Foolish Pleasures Tuff Truck flying across the pages. As for my subscription I will continue to pay year to year....Until they offer the lifetime subscription!

My BD's will last me a lot longer than the 5 latte's many consume -

Folks spend their money many different ways - I continued - b/c I'm sure in a year I'll find 1 nugget that will be worth the money - even if that nugget is a pic of something I'm considering on my rig.

but that is my point , HOW many of these"nuggets" do you see in the mag , that do not appear here? the advertisers are in both so why would I care.
I am really not here to argue, but some have really gotten their undies in a bunch.
Mi-Bronco I respect your opinion and just have not found the content in BD captivating, I don't like bling, crome don't get you home.
So I read here and get instant answers,
I just had a thought, if BD goes belly up then the back issues I have will beworth more in twenty years;D

Well I'm new to the bronco world and was looking forward to subscribing. But I know what you mean. As a Jeep guy I was excited several years ago when a new mag came out called "JP". It was exclusively Jeeps and had tech stories, restorations stories, trail stories. It was very different than any othe magazine out there. Then a few years ago it was bought up by Petersons (who also own Peterson's, Four Wheeler, etc.) and the stories became reprints of those found in their other magazines. Very disappointing.

I checked out Bronco Driver subscription this week. They have a package deal where you get a t-shirt if you get 12 issue subscription, but if you look at the price it is $12 more than buying two years of 6-issue subscriptions. WTF. They should be giving out t-shirts to promote their mag, not charging $12 extra.....

I hear what your saying about the Jeep mag....It wasn't bad at first then it turned into a first class rag just like all the rest.
The only mag that held its salt IMO was a title called "4X4 mechanic" . That was a 1st class mag with "how to" and real tech articles.....mim fluff. A real joy to read. In fact the only mag that I have saved for reference.

And a up date.....I have been asked many times if I was serious about selling the collection of BD that I had in my possession...the answer was Yes, I was very serious about it and the whole lot is on its way to "I hope" a happy fellow in PA.
Thanks Pete.
