I am trying to get a new transmission in my Bronco as I currently have a non-stock, non heavy duty tranmission.

I wanted to go with the NV4500 but was talked my self out of it for reasons of price and . . . well price. . . I can get the same exact form the 435 as I will not relaly be doing lot of road miles, at least not enough to justify the extra 1500 in parts and stuff. . .

So I found a 1975 Dodge 3/4 ton power wagon NP435 4 speed transmission with 203 transfer case for sale.

can I take what this is now and put it right into the Bronco? will this T-case even work with my current set up? I guess is the 203 T-Case even a good one or am I better with the dana 20 that I have in there now?

Dana 20. Its an easy swap and no mods are made except for cutting a hole in the tranny hump.

Ok, did some more research and proably need some validation here now on this

It appears that the 203 would not work as a T-Case in the bronco as it is a mirror of hte current t-case so opposite sides of where things are needed, but it is a great way to double your gears. is this accurate?

Don't get it.

Dodge 435 is not the same as a Ford 435, it will not bolt up to the engine. Input shaft and bolt pattern are different.
