NPD Hood question

I am looking for a new steel hood. I am amazed at the cost for shipping a hood, so I am considering driving to NPD in Fl when I am in Jacksonville in a few weeks. I looked at their steel replacement hoods online and talked with a sales person. It appears that their hoods do not have air vents. Does anyone know if this is the case, and has anyone used one of their hoods? How is the fit? How do they look without the vents?

Has no one on this site seen or purchased a National Parts Depot hood? Surely someone can give me some feedback on fit and finish. I don't have to have pictures but those would be nice as well.
