My eb with power steering correct c bushings new steering collum. will not return to center when going around a turn. Does this nut on steering box have anything to do with this, and if so how do you adjust it. Thanks

Not really. its more of a preload for the secotr shaft and over adjusting it can cause damage.
Do you have a lift? if so how high? what degree bushings did you install? Have you had your caster angle verified by a alignment shop? what was it? Even with the recommended bushings many times caster is still lacking and will cause your steering not to recenter.

Yes, the preload has a profound effect on return-to-center. But if you didn't tighten the screw, then that's not why yours won't. How do you know you have the correct C-bushings? When was the last time the truck was on an alignment rack?

Read this caption. The preload adjustment is at the bottom.

Jack the front tires and turn the wheels lock to lock, if it binds up anywhere you might have problems with your steering box or ball joints, tie rods, ect. if it turns freely you got alignment problems.
