Well 678 miles later we are home, had a BLAST!!😎😎 made some new friends and got to visit a bunch of old ones. Drove the bronco there, followed Gordon Bailie for 2 days and drove it home. Only casualties were a fuel pump and fuel filter/regulator, glad I carry spares. I pretty much failed at picture taking but did get a few memorable ones. What are your pics and stories?

PS: I was trying to keep up with Tasker’s example in the highway🤣🤣

Looks like a good time as usual, we'll make it back one of these years lol. How was the weather? Let me guess, it rained on Saturday evening per tradition??

I missed the 102* days, was nice Friday and Saturday. You guessed it started raining at 3:30 and quit about 5:00 with a few short quick showers until the raffle was going. Made dinner nice and cool.

You fallowed Gordon and didn’t break anything lol. A couple years ago in Colorado I drove over 600 miles. I think that’s the most the bronco has ever been on a road lol. Thanks for the pictures. Wish I was able to see everyone ☹️

This is coming from way out of left field, but as I was looking through your pictures of your weekend trip I think I recognized some familiar faces (and broncos). Last year (Sept ‘21) my wife and I were stopped while airing down just before heading over Mosquito Pass between FairPlay and Leadville, CO. We were in our blue jeep rubicon When you guys pulled up and stopped too. We started talking, and you graciously invited us to join your group for the trip over the pass. As we visited at stops over along the way you guys kept telling me we needed to get a Bronco. I agreed. Even though I’ve always been a Jeep guy-and still am, I’d always wanted one. Earlier this summer the one in my avatar presented itself to me and I brought it home. We’ve been having a good time with it ever since.

it’s good to see you’re still enjoying your broncos, and thanks again for your hospitality last year. Hope we run into you again sometime. Happy trails

I remember you! Welcome aboard Bruce!

I have been involved in a lot of groups over the years. I have never found a group of folks that as a whole as genuine, kind, helpful, and like minded as the early Bronco community. I look forward to our next encounter 😎

Thank you! We really enjoyed talking to you guys, and we’ve mentioned you several times since when talking about that trip. You all seemed to be having a great time, and we got a good vibe from you guys.

Bruce, we definitely had the good vibes going. That was a great trip.
I've attached a pic from that Mosquito Pass day.
So what you're saying is that he(me) need to paint our broncos yellow to hang out with the cool kids??? :D:p😆 I see Steven and Janice made it down too, I don't they've been there since we were there last in 2018.

Thanks for the pic. We were back up there about a month ago. We were keeping a eye out for you. That’s a great area.

Cool! I’ve got a ‘79 CJ7 I’ve had for 30 years that is currently being freshened up. Hope to get it back on the road over the winter when I have more time to work on it.

Mine was on SH-63 just outside of Mena as well. Just south of your route.

Good to meet you Okie69 also nice to put a face with your Bronco, I was with my white 77 that the fan kept banging the fan shroud right behind you. 😁 Going to fix that this week....or next... or the next:unsure:
