For those of you who still follow print media, the latest issue of Four Wheeler magazine has a 'Bronco Special' in the October issue, highlighted by a '76 with a Four Wheeler Camper on the cover (formerly owned by BajaBronco on here).

Back in the day we all got pretty excited when we saw something like this in the print 4WD magazines. I recently re-subscribed to Four Wheeler and thought it was pretty cool to see an EB on the cover again when I got my copy today.

I didn't think that Mag was still around...

My HotRod magazine has gotten so thin on info, I am considering letting it expire in April when my subscription runs out.... Sad.

It's one of the few surviving from what was once Petersen Publishing - the last 4WD magazine, as a matter of fact. Hot Rod has really gone downhill in the past year or two and I just noticed that Marlan Davis isn't the tech editor anymore - that guy was there for probably 40 years or more.

My mom got a Four Wheeler subscription as a Christmas gift back in 1982 and I was a faithful subscriber into the mid 2000s. I found myself wanting a print magazine around again each month and these issues are thin enough (sadly) that I can read them pretty quickly.

I remember what a "Desert" it was in the 80's just hoping to see a story or even a photo of an Early Bronco in one of the 3-4 truck magazines.

That brings back alot of good memories, I may even grab that issue. When I was a kid I knew when the new issues came out each month and I would go to grocery store with my mom, I would sit at mag stand and read 4x4 mags and motocross action, that was late 70's, the mags were packed full of good stuff back then. I still have my Motocross Action subscription which is still a full mag but im sure its only a matter of time before it goes full digital

I saw a few quick shots of that Bronco on Four Wheeler's 2020 Overland Adventure on YouTube.

Since it is "presented by Jeep" there was not a many shots of it.

Fun to watch for me as this Adventure is in Arizona.

These print magazines were what lead me to Early Broncos back in the early 90's... as an early teen, I remember thinking that Jeeps were cool (who didn't at that age?) but in a Ford only Family, when I saw a Bronco in FOUR WHEELER that sealed my fate! Fast forward to driving age and I looked at every Bronco for sale in the "Want Ad" and finally pony'd up and was able to get a 75...

I along with the poster had the article that featured the BFG Bronco in my dorm room... I think the name of that article was "two trick Pony" and I also cut out and had another article called "Dos Broncos Rojos" Just because it was fun to say!....

Anyway I am sure a lot of us saw those!

Yep I use to get excited too but the excitement wore off as time and time again they had a cover shot but no Bronco content inside. So I gave up on them all until the Bronco mag came. then they had great content but now I find their content lacking. pretty stuffed with advertisers and pictures but still lacking. next year it will probably be all 2021 Bronco stuff to keep up with the trend and remain relevant. I have a huge hord of 4x4 magazines and other hobbies. I have been keeping going back to the mid 70's pretty soon to go to the grave.
