I recently purchased a rear bench seat oem 72 bronco to put in my 72 bronco. Its is already on a metal frame/ box. Can i just attach it to my floorboard thru the original holes?

The original holes should have weld nuts underneath so you can bolt it down to the floor.

Hey there. Welcome! And what chucky said. Though not all Broncos had the holes, most did. So if yours does have the existing holes, then yes you can just bolt it right in.

There was originally a rubber pad (http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Rear-Rubber-Floor-Mat-66-77-Ford-Bronco/Bronco_Carpet) under carpet or floor mats to smooth out the bed ridges, but the original style seat can bolt on either over that pad, or directly to the floor if it's not there.

The rubber mats made to smooth out the ridges are rare and expensive. I used washers to keep some space for the mat and not damage it while tightening the seat hold down bolts.

JBG has it on their new products video this month. Now they are being reproduced.

What Paul said :) both about the welcome and that not all of the beds had the holes. Mine does not have the holes. I believe this is because it came with the front bench and no back seat. I will replace it with a new floor plan with the weld nuts as I also found a stock bench seat and stock buckets. We are fortunate in that the rear floor is now reproduced both with and without the holes and weld nuts. I don't think either of the pans was reproduced back in 2000 when I became a Bronco owner.
