I'll get some more pics of the mirrors and see if I can find a part number for sure.

So the carb is really bad? What would I notice, performance wise, when keeping it? Obviously I'm focusing first on getting the truck running, but then I'll make a "wish list" and the carb should probably be first.

Regarding the aluminum lower fender covers, there's no swiss cheese that I can see under neath. Appears they were just added for style. That was one thing I was worried about, since that's usually what these are used for.

I remember those articles. It was like christmas when they came in the mail. It is cool that you are bringing it back to life.

Regarding the motor article, a few things have been changed on the truck since. For instance, there's now an automatic transmission in it. Also, the carb mentioned in the article has been changed. The shocks all appear to be exactly as mentioned, as is the exhaust and fuel delivery.

Interesting for sure. I hope I find more issues showing the mods.

Here's the lead page for another article that I found in my pile. Not sure of the date of this issue and I only have this page.

And here are some pics of the truck that I took at the SCORE off road show in Anaheim in 1993.
