I had a request from Rockin69er about anything I would do different if I was to do this over again. We have only used this camper a couple of times since the Canyonlands trip and I will say I WOULD NOT build one without a heater. We finally used it in some pretty cool weather and it kept us so hot we had to leave the door flap open.

What I would change would be the height of the hitch end of the frame. When I built the trailer frame I just matched its height to my EB and built a set of lift blocks for the bed so it would match my bronco height. The problem is that my receiver hitch location is about 4" below the frame height in the center of my bumper. In order to make the thing level (mostly so it looks better rolling down the road) I had to rig up a crappy looking drop bracket for my pintle hitch. If I had it to do again I would double up the thichness of the tounge end of the trailer frame and build the drop into it instead. I had to crop another picture to get a shot of the hitch you could see so you could visualize the issue so I apologize for the crappy, grainy picture.

Past_miner - so you're using a fence post as a pivot point? LOL! Only kidding, just what I first thought when I saw the pic.
