oh happy day upgrade

Well I spent the weekend putting the quick ratio power steering kit in my 69 and WOW am I looking forward to some riding. Its like a new truck best upgrade so far. Anyone In abq area want to go for a ride ?

I just had my steering replaced also and it makes it so much nicer to drive. My manual box had a lot of slop in it and was dangerous because it would wonder. I got the Borgeson box and saginaw pump and it is very easy and safe to drive now. A top three upgrade!!

Watch out for that quick ratio. The first night I owned mine we took our granddaughter for a ride ,as we passed the Krispy Kream she said,Hey grandpa can we get a donut? Well I turned that wheel so quick to not miss the driveway it was up on two wheels.

Is there any slop (however small) after the upgrade?

No everything feels pretty solid . the only slop is in my arm as I was used to about an eighth of a wheel slop on the original stuff and I guess my arm has memory lol. Its a great upgrade especially if you've added bigger wheels and tires. I went with the system from one of the vendors. I'm pretty happy.

Do you have the original steering wheel on it?

Others here have said that smaller steering wheels feel squirrely with quick ratio steering boxes.

My suspension is very good and it tracks well,but at highway speed you hetter be paying attention. I have the Duffs 3.3
