The IRON BUTT award is an award given to the person who has driven the longest distance. If BassAss shows there may be a new butt catagory added this year too.

Anyway, I have not yet sent in my registration either Howie and may end up staying in the back of my Bronco somewhere. This being Oklahoma, it may be wise to circle the wagons somewhere.

Any club members or previous attendees with tips for us procrastinators, please speak up here.

Alright Howie! More cash for the Bronco. OOPS! They don't sell anything for $15 for the Bronco!!

I haven't actually registered either. But I do have a reservation at Camp Minnetonka. $25 per night.
Not too bad but no smoking, drinking or loud parties. It's a church camp across the street from the Clayton
Country Inn. I figure that since Jake and MXPAZ are in the Inn we could just party in their room (If MXPAZ
isn't too offended by what I called him). If anyone is interested in the Camp Minnetonka rooms here
is the number. (918) 569-7856. I made reservations 2 days ago so they probably still have room.

If I make it, it will be without the steed. The interior is out, the wiring harness is laying on the floor, and the steering column is apart. And no time to finish. Maybe next year.......

::)Ok! ::) Ok! I'm gonna pull you guys out this time-without a yank strap!
Following are the hotels - I know the Clayton Country Inn was full 3 days ago when I had to call and ask about pets - so they probably still don't have any rooms - if they do - THEY DON'T ALLOW PETS-PERIOD!
others that may have available rooms -
Camp Minnetonka (918) 569-7856 this is the one above that is a church camp but is across from Clayton Country Inn.
A&A Motel (918) 569-4101
Sardis Inn (918) 569-4665
G's Cabins (918) 569-4147
Nashoba Valley Golf (918) 755-4519

It's my understanding that Nashoba Valley Golf is approx. 10 miles from Clayton but when you call any of the above - you may want to ask their locations. You may also want to get your registration in so you can be counted for Saturday nights 'feed bag'.

See ya in the dirt! ;D ;D

This is going to be my first time for the roundup (since I couldn't make the last couple) and I have a few questions for some of you that have done this before.

I sent in my registration around the 25th of July but haven't received any confirmation that they have received it. In fact the check hasn't shown up in my statements that it's even been cashed.

Did anyone received such confirmation yet? Should I be receiving tickets or anything like that before arriving?

At least my room reservations were made and confirmed so I'll still be there!!!

TIA

I don't know if ours has ben cashed or not either but robbie had the packets with your name on them when we got there last year. Can't wait! Colorado next week, just got back from Joplin, Mo Nice park and not too far away. Hope I don't break anything in Colorado cause that only leaves 4 days to get it fixed! Later, jake

Robbie usually has the packets made up when she arrives. T-shirts, meal tickets, etc. My check has not cleared yet but I feel certain that she has received them. I'll try to get in touch with her and let you know for sure if she's received yours.

p.s. please forgive the little hitches in our get-alongs. ;D

Son John and I are planning to make the trek to Clayton from Mena Arkansas. Our 69 Sport is a street rig but we are building an off road out of a 66, a 68 and a 74, so want to see what you guys do to your broncs to make em climb hills. ;)

Okay guys, here's the deal. My twelve year old son has helped tremendously in getting the Bronco ready for the trip to Clayton. So he gets to play hooky from school Friday and we will leave very early Friday morning. We will be staying at Clayton State Park and hope to have camp up well before dark.

We are hoping that everyone that can, will stop by and visit with us. I talked to the park manager this morning and just about anything is alowed at the camp sites, including plenty of company.

We should have plenty of hot dogs and beverage and we're mighty friendly, so please feel free to stop by and meet us.

We look forward to meeting you.
