Nexrad! Oh WOW!! does that mean that you can help set us up with good weather for the roundup?????Astark does a mighty fine job, but I'm sure he could use your Nexrad upgrades! Post up that schedule as soon as you get it.

Speaking of get togethers. We usualy have a poker run down the South Canadian river a couple of times each summer. Last run was approx 100 rides of every sort. It would be nice to see an EB group there to pull out the slackers. It's approx 30 miles west of OKC right off I-40. If anyone's intrested I'll post up some dates when they become available. Anyone is welcome bronco or not.

I think the first one will be late June or early July. The reiver needs to settle down after the spring rains. If we go to soon we might leave a few more rides in the sand. The current count is 4 still visable from the last few years.

i know that, we went on a run on south canadian river near norman once. if you get stuck you have hurry up or your sunk. i think they said there were about 20 so sunk under the sand that you couldn't even see anymore. or you could find a hole next to the river and do something like this%)

south canadian river, motor vehicles, and me dont mix, was there once with my brother and his dune buggy and was riding on top of the fuel tank(only third seat) when fuel sloshed out, spent the rest of the day soaking in the river, next time was riding motorcycles when the one I was on quit about 5 miles up river and we had to tow it back behind the other and sometime from breakdown till we got it back to the truck I broke the small bone in my leg right above the ankle but we did not leave a vehicle behind. let us know we could come join anyway.

That's why we go on trips after the river has settled in. We know where to go and where to avoid. After each big rain it changes a bit each time, but some of our group goes every weekend. We only do a run when the river is down and a path set. I avoid some of the stuff more qualified rides go through. It's a matter of knowing what you and your ride are capable of. There is always a path around the bad sticky stuff
I would never put you in anything I wouldn't go through myself.;D
