Wow -- those look great! That's exactly what I want to do with mine, but not really sure where to begin. I don't want to tear it apart and not be able to get it back together again. I don't see a manual attached? Here's a few pics of what I'm starting with. Doesn't look too bad, but I'm just not sure how they work.

Yea, manual didn't load. I'll see if I can PM it to you. They work real simple, one cable to engage the gears, one for the clutch and the small cable that basically trips a switch to turn it on. They only have power feed in so there is no reverse or power feed out like on a 8274 but for an early build they are very cool!
