Most of the time, the reason to replace an original metal body with a fiberglass body is the metal body was not cost effective to repair. The value of that metal body will depend on the condition, and that usually means rust.

Really need to see some pics of the body to give any kind of value assessment.

Photos and location would help. A tub could be worth scrap value or a few grand. As has been said, if it was replaced there was a reason. A rusty tub in Arizona is a like new tub up here in New Hampshire though so a bit more information and we might be able to dial in a real value for you.

He may have followed the advice as I have seen here to replace metal with fiberglass for driving in road salt.

Or it may be ?????

Probably didn't like the goofy orange, white and blue paint job and went fiberglass since it needed body work and paint.

hey guys I'm sure you think you're being funny, but I am struggling post divorce - after being married 26 yrs. - after I nursed him thru bariatric surgery, and after he lost 200 pounds he decided he could do better - the judge gave me a crappy settlement & I need to sell stuff off to get by - if you don't want to be sincere & help, then just don't say anything. I know what a tight knit community bronco people are & I thought I might be able to get some help - guess I was wrong - or was I? Will you step up & help someone in need or not?

We happy to help but as many have said we need pics to give an adequete value if you have some 3rd party site you can post the pics on and link them back we are glad to help. If it is salvagable I would say 500 and up, depends on your location too. Max price could go to 1000 or 2000 if it is good condition. If your not comfortable postlng city then let us know state as that will detremine the audience your trying to sell too.

No problems, here is a link the admin has a write up of how to post pics there are other album sites out there like google or photo buckett or others.

As for moving the tub might wanna take pics of where it is now as if the tub is not braced properly it can bend and greatly hurt or ruin the value as you might be able to sell it where it sits.

You are trying to tell me Craiglist and this site doesn't work, in order to get a good estimate?

She sent me a few photos and it doesn't look good. Theresa bunch of stuff in it and a few small trees growing around it. The front clip is gone and the rear quarters are cut. I told her to get some better photos of the bed, post, floor pans and cowel. I'm just waiting to hear back....at this point in time i do not think it's worth investigating

I was afraid of that but was hopping it was just someone that wanted to put a fiberglass body on to avoid rust completely
