Tons of them. Most people on here seem to have strong feelings one way or the other. Personally I'm using a Bronco Design fiberglass tub for my build. Mine was too far gone in my opinion to to waste time and money fixing it. I did a little research and looked at BD tubs. Then I bought one. I'm happy with it. Some people will never be happy with a fiberglass Bronco. I guess it boils down to your feelings on fiberglass, and the condition of your tub.

I don't have one, but I am thinking about a Bronco Design one; mainly because they are the only one to have the uncut style. The Dennis Carpenter metal body tub that was recently announced that has caught my eye, but I'm still leaning towards the fiberglass because I'll drive mine year round which being in Chicagoland means salt for four months or so.

Metal rusts, fiberglass stress cracks. No matter how good it's made, I still consider it a "kit car". In the classic car world, a metal body will always bring more than a fiberglass reproduction. Though never a Bronco, I've done two fiberglass body vehicles and prefer working with metal.

Fiberglass is so much easier to repair (for the home mechanic) than metal. I've had glass front fenders and roadster inserts since 2001 and crunched them a few times. They still look good after the repairs. I've never thought of my '66 as a classic, it's an off roader!! Bronco goes out and plays while '57 Ford Fairlane 500 sits home in the garage and collects all the dust floating around.

I like mine a lot. I have driven it out in the deep snow, down salty roads, on rainy days .
Wipe it down and no rust when you pull the cover off the next time. If you live in a bad climate and intend to drive it year-round I think it is a great option. If put together right it looks pretty damn good.

That is one of the main factors that pulls me to the fiberglass tub.

WENT glass on my build rig. I am building it for me with no intention of ever selling. The reason is the North East is harsh on trucks and finding a good tub? well, i always say i have a stack of mint bodies in my unicorn barn. I wanted something rugged enough to wheel and drive when ever i want....snow and salt be damned!
