"House" battery under the FSB:

Note the cleat under the strap that clamps the base of the battery. The H-D ratchet strap is secondary, but it does hold the arc shield (partial Delo 400 jug) in place.

"arc shield", nice, if in when my optima tubes, I'm going simpler larger agm. I have the specific optima wildhorse aluminum bronco hold down, too nice for me

What did that very large contactor do?

Power cutoff switch to the winch.
Little toggle opens or closes it when needed.

If I remember correctly it is a 300 amp constant duty solenoid, controlled by a weatherproof switch that you reach through the grille to activate.
