Optima chargers.

Ok I tried the new charger. So far it revived the yellow top. It says the red top is too dead. It also says try the battery in parallel trick. To do it does it need to be another 4ed top or any working battery? Also can the other battery be in a car or should it be unhooked?

Any 12v car battery will work, unhooked from the vehicle.

I think you can hook up a good battery in parallel with the dead battery and the charge can occur. Do a web search to confirm.

yes there is something out there on the interenet about the above. my friend told me about it, but i forgot the specifics. let us know if you find it.
