Just to save future people the trouble. When you come to the part of wiring up the duraspark you have two blue #900 wires comeing through the fire wall. Hook one into the resistor and the other into the dura spark. Took the painless tech a couple hours to figure that one out. Their diagram makes it looks like it's just a wire going from the resistor to the duraspark unit

Thanks for the update. I didn't notice that when looking at the instructions the last time. Should have though, since I know the Duraspark wiring is what most instructions seem to stumble on .

I'll mark that down in my instruction book.
For the record though, the one going to the resistor then goes to the ignition coil only, correct? While the other one powers up the ICM/Module with full 12v.
That how you have yours?

It is just one wire going from the coil to the module. One end of the blue #900 wire is in the coil section, to connect to the coil, and the other end of this blue #900 wire is in the ignition module section to connect to the module.

The instructions for the Ignition module state "The last group of wires in the ENGINE SECTION is a group tagged “IGNITION MODULE”. These 3 wires are the opposite ends of the Duraspark wires covered in the
Starter Solenoid wiring (Red/Blue #957), and the Coil wiring (Blue #900 & Gray/Yellow #999)."
Sorry you had confusion in this and it took a little while to get the answer you needed. I tend to do most of the tech on this harness so our phone techs aren't quite as familiar with this harness as they are some of the others. If you come across something else, let me know.

Thanks Eric! Good to see you here again. I still haven't checked the page out myself, but curious to see what I see now.

if you look at the wiring diagram it looks like a short wire going from the ignition module to the resistor. so you can imagine my confusion when i am sitting here holding two blue wires lol

That's why they call it "painless" instead of "painfree".
