Painless Harness - Horn and Hazard Issue

I installed a Painless harness about 6 months a go on my 72' that has a 5.0. Now out of the blue the horn is stuck on and the hazards are flashing. Both of these issues happened at the same time. Bad ground or other cause you can think of?

Short circuit inside the steering column perhaps?

Just to narrow it down, disconnect the plug at the bottom of the steering column and see if both problems disappear simultaneously.
