I did a spray out of 8V8. The ground coat is a purple pearl. You can see the ground coat on the top of the card. The mid coat is blue but thinned out like a white pearl mid coat. It looks good but there are other blues that look just as good in a 2 stage. I didn't do a spray out yet of the 8UI. I'll try to this afternoon.

Nice thanks! I had it mixed as a two stage. DuPont chroma base be interesting to see how it compares.

Shoot, everyone is posting pictures of their Blue trucks, I know you've seen mine but I don't want to be left out. Oh and for all you DIY'rs, the brick work your seeing there is all my own handiwork, looks great from afar. Can't claim the stucco, but I also built those eaves.

Pictures don't show how nice these colors are.
The one on the left is 8u1 (not 8UI) the middle one is 8V8 with three coats of mid coat. The one on the right is a let down panel with the ground coat, 1 coat of mid, 2 coats of mid, and three coats of mid. I have no idea which one would match the vehicle since I don't have one here.

I'll have them in the mail at lunch on Monday, the 8U1 sprayout is too fresh to put in an envelope.
