I have more questions than answers.
Some time back as part of a lot at a cabinet shop auction i got 3 paint guns.
they where very clean.

1. a touch up gun the manufactor was so proud of they didn't even put there name on it. Has a trigger adjustment and a knob on the left frt by the tip???

2.Napa Everlast

3. C.A. technologies. This one has 3 spots to adjust 1 by air fitting. the other 2 in the normal spot. This one looks to be the highest quailty of the 3

I needed to paint some primer today (no not any body parts). Having never used these I tried water thru the CAT gun. It seemed to work fine. When I tried the primer nothing but air would come out. Used the NAPA one and got the job done.

Any ideas about the CAT gun. Are these decent guns??? Any info would be a help. Someday I may need to paint something important.

I've never heard of those spray guns. You said you tried to shoot primer but not body parts. Are you trying to spray house paint thru them?

if your just shooting cheep paint on park benches its all right but id never chance it shooting auto paint. At over $100 a quart id hate to redo something because i didnt break down and buy a real gun. A decent gun can be bought for around $125 (Devilbiss Finishline 3).
