SEM Color Coat is also available at most good upholstery suppliers and automotive paint stores. They will have a SEM color chart that will give you a good idea what the Parchment looks like.

I was able to get a great shade to paint my door panels at Pep boys. I shot the panels and it really was the correct color.

I'll get the color# next time I am at the garage....

yes, a brand and part number would be great.

mnkybiz- do you have the part number for that can on the left? i can see the other two part numbers;) i shouldnt need the adhesion promoter and the plastic prep for steel door panels should i??

while i was in autozone today i saw a can that looked like it would match and it was called "wembleton white"...would that be a close match?

I do not recall off the top of my head the exact color. I'll try to dig through the garage tonight. If my lately missing memory is functioning, I think it was the Super White 11440z, but don't gamble any family members on that!

The mark on the drivers is a grease hand print below the arm rest.

The photo of the dash shows where I painted the ash tray against an original color dash. The only difference I can see is a little fading/discoloration of the old dash paint.

the pic of your dash brings me to my next project...gauges. i ordered 3 auto meter gauges today and was planning on doing them the same way in the radio slot;D are yours(sunpro) 2 1/16" gauges?

STOP ....do you want white or beige..wimbelton white is white paint ....
it was the color on the outside and some insides of ford cars and truck from
1955 to about 1980 ...dupont no. was 4775a ...but parchment is beige ...
sorry i sold paint for 30 years but dont remember the no. of the beige ...
but it can be had from sems ....use the sems over the rustoleum ...It's just a little better ..and what I sold would last ...good stuff...I just painted my
arm rest black and I cant tell they where ever anything but black....

The dash gauges are SUNPRO, but only because I didnt realize Autometer makes them in this size. I would recommend getting the Autometers over the SUNPRO. They're working okay and look decent, but the lighting system is terrible and I would trust the Autometer name much more than SUNPRO. Either way, the previous owner started to cut in a radio and never finished, so this was a perfect fit. I had a panel cut for it and shot it black. I get compliments on it and it fills the bill as they say.

If I was buying the SUNPRO again, I'd buy the white face gauges. I think they would look really good against the white dash.....

Are the Autometers 2 and 1/16" if so, I have another panel laying around somewhere. I got 2 cut at the same time. I may have trashed it though since I got the 1st one working and painted. I'll look tonite.
