Park brake brackets

I have a question. I bought the floor support from a vender, cant remember what vender, but according to the old support, it looks like its turned backward from the other. The bracket that has the two holes for the cables to pass thru to the rear of the truck. My question is does it matter? I havnt tried it yet. Just asking. Thanks

Yes, it was backwards on mine too. I cut it off and rewelded correctly...not sure yet what difference it might have made if left, maybe 3 or 4 inches...but....pretty easy to fix, and not have to think about again.
