Hope everyone had a great Christmas and they have a safe and happy New Year. I need some opinion on this if anyone can help. My hunting season is about over and I'm gearing up to get back to work on my rebuild. I have been cleaning out my garage and moving things around to make more working floor space. Does anyone think damage to the door window frames would be possible if the complete doors were hung by hooks this way? I didn't know if the window frame would support the weight or not. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I've had my doors, empty cores haggin for over a year by the window frame, and feel that theres no damage to this point, but the frames are also fully welded. When I start reassambly the doors will not hang again from the frames. I feel that the weight will increase by I quessing 100+%. The doors always need tweeking to fit right during the rebuild. I think something hooked to the the hinge mounts would be a better idea.

an empty shell with a solid frame would be fine.
a complete door i'd feel better if i had a shelf to sit them on of some sort.
i store my doors and sheet metal on the top shelf of a sturdy shelving unit i made.

Thanks guys for your help. I kind of figured it would be too much weight for the window frame. But you won't know unless you ask. Thanks again.
