Pic request - Window frame and top painted the same color

Looking for some pics of a bronco, where the window frames (windshield and door frames) are painted the same color as the top, but are a different color than the body of the truck.

Red Body, Black top. Would it look funny, having the colors split at the bed rail-up?
Thinking of painting mine to match.

I had a shop do a low budget paint job on mine probably in 2001. They accidentally did that and had to redo it. It looked funny to me. I was really concerned if I left it, that it would look funny with the hard top off. That would have been red body , white windshield frame and a black soft top.

I had a two tone 74 Bronco a few years ago. However, the color boarder was at the mid body trim line where the Aluminum Trim is. This seems to be a more natural boarder location. I did Silver below and Black above. Still would have to decide how to split the Grill color though. Turned out to be a Great looking Bronco.

I've seen a late model Range Rover that is white with black on top exactly as you are describing. Looks pretty sweet to me.

Google two tone range rover.

What would the door frames look like. I guess if they had sport trim it would blend in.

I've seen a few done that way and it always looks funny to me. Looks immediately like a repaint done wrong.

Take a look on the 3rd page, a post from Jeffh355. There a white and black combo. I think it looks good. The jeep guys may wave to ya when you pass them on the road.

Ya think?

My opinion is that the combo looks fine with the top on, but loses it's appeal when the hard top is off. If you have a matching soft top, that would probably be fine too, but topless it just looks out of character for an EB.
A color change to something non-white however, might change that look completely.
