i am trying to install my lift kit and need to remove the pitman arm on my 74.
Any special thing i am supposed to know?
So far i can't get the dang nut off. This is the only thing i have left that is keeping me from removing my front axle.
1. What size nut?
2. reverse thread or regular?
3. HELP

Many auto parts stores will loan you the puller with a small deposit.

The only place I found that socket, on a weekend, was at Harbor Freight in a set of other oversized ones, and with a 3/4" drive. I bought that for $26, and spent another $5 on stepped adapters (1/2 to 3/4, 3/4 to 1/2, etc)

unfortunately puller didn't get it off either it kept working itself off the top of the bolt.. I just ended up beating it off, heck one more thing to replace.
