pitman arm removal

I tried it all. BFH, wd-40, heat, broke 3 pullers.
Got so %^&*( that I finally cut it off with a cutoff saw. sure would have saved me a lot of time if i would have stated this way. Use a wet towel and watch out out for the sparks

FYI that China Freight puller fit my pitman arm but did not fit my buddies bronco pitman arm...not sure who's arm was not stock

both were probably stock, power pitman arm is wider than manual.

They don't fit the new Super Duties or HD Ram's either...

I've found that using an impact gun on the puller seems to work really well, gives you shock and turning all at the same time....

Yep. I swapped my manual pitman for a power pitman from Viperwolf and it was definately a bit larger. The hole for the drag link end was smaller though which worked perfectly.

I just did this last night on mine. My pitman arm was too large for the HF puller, the loan a tool autozone puller and the darth puller.

This one pulled it right off. Guess it's for F250-350s too.

My pitman arm was too large for ...the darth puller.

There are at least 2 sizes by Snap-On; maybe more by other mfrs.
