I need some help. Just recently I installed guages that I got from Tom's. Some of you may rememberthat I had some trouble getting them to work. I came to realize that the instrument cluster voltage regulator was not working properly. I changed it out and once again had working guages. I drove it for about ten minutes before it quit working again. In the mean time my alternator quit working, so I had it replaced along with the voltage regulator. I figured that this may have caused a problem for the ICVR, so I replaced it as well. The guages again began to work. This time I drove it for about two days and it quit working again this weekend. What is the problem?!?!?! I figure it must be some type of grounding problem, but I do not know where to start. I really need to try and figure this out before I start shelling out $500 for a new wiring harness. I'm bad about fixing more that I really need to.

Thanks in advance and remember I am a banker, not an electrician!
