Power Steering Pump Install Advice

After going through 2 reman OE style pumps I broke down and ordered a new Saginaw pump from TBP - My first issue is that there was a bracket holding on my coil mounted between the double threaded bolt shaft and the engine block. The bolt shaft on the new pump is to long to accomdate the bracket plate so I either need to modify the bolt shaft, use the old pump bracket on the new pump (dont think they match) or relocate the coil/bracket. Not sure where yet but that is not the end of the world if I can find a spot.

My other issue and where I need is advice is installing the new pump. The last one I did I was able to squeeze out the pump simply unthreading the double threaded bolt from the engine block, canting the pump and remove the bolt from the back. Not happening on this pump. The bolt shaft "barely" fits between the engine block and mounting bracket - trying to move it into place and trying to line up the bolt into the engine block is damn near imppossible. The only option I can think to make this easy is remove the mounting bracket from the water pump and mount he pump and bracket as one piece then reattache the bracket to the pump. I have heard that this is not good and the water pump seal will not fully reseal once loosened? Not sure if tht is myth but i dont need to create more issues right now.
