Anybody run or ran a predator carb? I got a couple free from a friend who ran duals on a 460 in a boat. I bolted one on and I must say it is extremely responsive, and has given me way more power (I was under carbed in the first place though) I am curious to see how it will work on inclines!?! The thing is huge, luckily I already have a hole in my hood. ;D

Had one on a hopped up 460 in a '75 F250. Ran great on the street, but off road it didn't deal with bumps very well. It would load up and flood out very easily on the rough stuff, real annoying. It would probably work well for a mud racer or other full throttle application since its variable venturi design allows it to go from something like 600 cfm at idle to 900 cfm at WOT.

I've seen them on Sand Rails in the desert. From what it appears is that they are very good at inclines. Also they make incredible horsepower when you put the throttle down.
