Probably be ok - the biggest thing on the Saginaw pumps, as you know, is the angle/routing/direction of the returns on the pump. Some of those are wonky and put the return hoses in real odd locations. It's probably not very available anymore either but years ago I used one from a 79-85 Cadillac Eldorado with hydroboost (had the diesel engine) that had the returns in real nice locations for the Bronco engine compartment.

Many of the square body 1 ton trucks both gas and diesel had hydro boost with dual return Saginaw pumps.
