yeah K just thought about that, if my old seats had been any higher (corbeau) i would have been hitting my head on the cage... might not do seat tie ins then... but frame for sure.

here are some frame tie ins they did on another rig

ok spent some money today, ordered gorilla warflares for the ol girl. My motor guy wanted to get the bottom end figured so i ordered a Scat forged crank, scat H-beams, wiseco Pistons, kind bearings, to finish the bottom end of my 393.

once i get squared with west coast broncos on cage and rocker guards, it will be on to steering, tranny (700r4 w/ adapters) and a atlas most likely.

these are just some junk 35's on there so it will roll, you guys think i'll clear 37's alright? they are full widths, 2" bodylift with 3.5" suspension

just catching up with the build! :) looking sweet!

in the picture it looks like u have tons of clearance to stuff a 37 in there, but once u get everything in, cage, bumpers, engine, misc, i think its gonna squat a little. im running a 2" body and 3.5 lift with 35" tires and i want to go to 37"s and i will in the near future, but im thinking some (more) body trimming will be needed. (currently, i have no flares, but cut to match the wildhorse flare opening)

but then again i dont know how different with full widths it will be?

and to play off your quote early on, u said u want to do it right the first time, but in the pic i saw a carb?:? ?:? wheres the EFI...;D;) (absolute best upgrade ive ever done!) just trying to spend more of your money! :D

keep up the progress!

lol, the carb came with the top end from edelbrock so figure put that on first and then EFI later. i have the carb stuff sitting here might as well. goin hydroboost right off the bat brakes wise, once its running it will go up and see curry for the axles or dynatrac.

but yes EFI is planned, lol. not doin EFI right off the bat, helps me justify my atlas, ;)

cant go wrong with an atlas! thats for sure! ;)

and once they mount my flares and rocker guards i'll have a bit better idea of what will clear.

very true. ill stay posted on the thread.. im interested to see how they fit. i have a set of big bronco axles just waiting to have money thrown at them, but i guess i have to have money...?:? LOL

Motor guy sent me some pics of the block we are using. she's still got the factory bearings worn down to the copper but nice and even, the original rope rear seal is still there and there were pieces of the stock nylon timing gear stuck to the inside. This thing was never molested.

Seen your bronco up there several times. I wanted to take it with me ! They do amazing work. Curious about your shocks on there and what they cost. Im doing the WCB 12 inch radius arms and im searching for a good shock.

well right now my motor guy is hot and heavy on the motor, checking clearences and stuff.

Before the block goes out for cleaning and machining I like to make sure the rotating assembly is going to fit without clearance issues. It looks great, so far the only spot where it needed grinding was near the oil pump mounting boss to clear the larger counterweights and it only needed a very small amount. All of the rod bolts cleared the bores and a .927 pin fit in the small end of the rod really nice. I am going to machine (chamfer) the outer face of the rod bearings in the lathe as this crank has a large radius at all of the throws. Most of the time they use a chevy V6 bearing for street motors but that gives up too much surface area as far as I'm concerned.

buddy of mine is nuts and just replaced his pit bull 37's with toyo's so he is holding his pitbulls (about 80 percent no patches) for me for 500 bucks for 5 of them. FUCK YES
