time to test fit body after putting in a 351w with a explorer front and jd twin sticks , also i wanted to run all my fuel lines from the frame to the motor and not scratching body after it's painted . of course viperwolf helped me install the body . we used 2 engine hoists and a couple of straps and it was surprisingly easy.

took the body to the blast after everything was fitted ans found a couple of pin holes in the right rocker panel so i cut an inspection hole and found the rust had eaten most of the backside of the rocker and a small section of the inner panel . also you can see i took many measurements off my bracing and fixed pionts on the body.

I believe we have the exact same welder and even the exact same "Blue Rage" welding helmet. $250 dollars for a helmet and my kids think its for them to play "Star Wars". Its a good choice for a helmet, I had an el cheapo harbor freight one and burned the hell out of my eyes welding in floor pans.

couple pics of the body after all metal prep is done , and started by paint poxy primer then a black paint then a rubberized undercoating . would have stuffy lined bottom but thought if i ever wanted to grind out and mod i'd be hard pressed to duplicate . with the ruberized if you stratch it , just get the can out and reshoot . my cradel for the body is taken from bax and it worked awesome.
