Radiator Shroud 2.0 almost done!

Looking good amigo! Let's see a pic of the thing actually on the road! ;)

Hey Brother! It will be on the road this week. Last minute but gonna hopefully get over to the MEB event out in PA and looking forward to it for sure! Wasn't sure I was gonna be around but I am and I am going out there with the Bronco.

Been working on tying up some odds and ends and it is really close to firing up once again and getting back on the road! Pretty excited to get it on the road! ;D

Was going to keep my old radiator and sell the new one that I just bought specifically for the EFI but I think that I am gonna run this one just because! In any case if I had known about the different hose for the bottom of that gets rid of the crossover tube I probably would have stuck with the original radiator but there are things about the EFI radiator that I prefer so I will go that route.

Anyways, just about done with the new two piece shroud! Not sure if it is a good idea making it two pieces but I think it is gonna work well! Just need to patch in one more section, weld on the side bolts to hold it together and get it powdercoated! Hopefully maybe have it done and installed and running tomorrow night but hopefully tuesday the latest after I set the timing and whatnot! ;D Here are some pics of the shroud I have been working on!

It's Back on the Road!

Ok, finally back on the Road this Saturday after a MUCH TOO LONG Rest! I am a little embarrassed that it has been probably almost two years since the last time I drove it but boy it was nice to get it out there today! Actually it was awesome!

In any case, a couple little things to tidy up but nothing serious I would say! Have to get my Lokar Oil Dipstick turned down on a Lathe so that it slides in a little further and seals up better! A little bit of oil coming out because of it!

Also, I still have a fricken leak from my oil pan drain plug/bolt! Kinda getting a little frustrated with this little gremlin! Other than that the oil seems to be staying in the engine with no other leaks that I have noticed so that is a good thing for sure!

Overall a great day with one small problem! I lost/misplaced my wallet and can't seem to find the darn thing! %) Hopefully I can get my hands on it tomorrow and spend another awesome day driving the truck around! Woo Hoo!

I was beginning to think that you were never going to drive that thing and that it wasn't going to bother you one bit.;)

Thanks Brother! Still stuff to do but just driving it is nice as you know! ;D

Biggest thing that I worry about now is someone stealing it with how much the value of these trucks seems to be going up! %)
