Looking at a set of used p.f. bumpers and wondering how they mount. They are the plate rock block or whatever they are called. Looks like the front slips in and bolts top and bottom. The rear looks like it bolts to the frame ears %) but is there a spacer for the rear to move it to allow for BL or something? The width of the bumper is like 6.75" which is more than the frame horns so I take it you put a bushing or block in there. Wish these things mounted better. Anyways, I know there are several out there, hope you can help.

I bought them a while back. I didn't have side to side problems. I did box in on side of the frame for strength. I also welded new plates top and bottom, in the front and back. I had to change the top and bottom holes in the back. That got the bumper to sit level.

The back one had a spacer for the top. I bought the one for a body lift.

How high does the bumper sit into the grille?
Trying to figure out what BL these are made for. The mounting tabs are 4" below the top of the bumper so I figured they are for a 2" or 3" bumper.

I just put a set on my truck. The front is a bolt on. I have a 3'' body lift and the top of the bumper lined up even with the bottom of the grill. Even with the license plate bolt holes.
The back has a 2'' body lift option. It is really only about an 1 1/2'' but I am not going to argue that. The lifted option is a spacer that bolts to the frame with 2 bolts. One in the slotted hole and one in the stock bumper mount. The top stock hole is used to bolt up the new bumper. The mounting bolt goes thru the bumper, thru the spacer and thru the top of the frame. The lower mount has a steel plate that welds onto the bumper. This plate has a hole in it and it mounts to the stock lower frame mount.. Do you want pictures?

Hey Tito are those the bumpers that Kris had at Oregon Motorsports? I went down there last week to have him make a few bends for me and I saw them on his show room floor. I didn't look real close but they looked almost new.

Yup they are and they are new, good price. They are built for a 2-3" BL though and are not quite finished like I would want for my wife's Bronco.

Gotta love those buggies they are working on in there!

He builds some cool stuff down there in his little shop. I liked that Polaris side by side he was tricking out.

When you go to drill the mounting holes for the rear bumper...tilt it towards the front a little bit so the spare tire tilts a tad forward (ending up close to level or a slight tilt forward). If not... it may have a lean back & bum you out :-X
