Q78 super swampers

Has anyone on here ran Q78 super swampers on an uncut bronco with 3.5" lift and stock wheels? The exact measurements are 35.5x10.8 I beleive. Just curious as to what issues there may be. I regeared to 4:56 so 34x9.50 tsl's which true measure to 33.8 are too small for my gearing.

on an uncut the 35's will be too tall and too wide. Even with the lift. The width will hit in the rear. The front will take out the front corner of the fender on a turn.

I have 35x15r15 tsl's that came on the bronco when I bought it and I have no clearance issues in the front. The factory 15x7 wheels have the same back spacing as my current wheels so there shouldn't be any inside change to the wheel/tire location, just a lot less wheel/tire on the outside.

And if the rear will hit with a 10.8" wide tire on the factory 15x7's, this would mean people couldn't run a 31x10.50 on a factory 15x7 due to being too wide. Or are you talking about too much tire height when flexing would cause them to kiss the inside of the wheel wells?

If it's.anything like every SS I ever bought the actual mounted ht will be close.to an inch less than their stated ht.

They sell more.tires.that way. My buddy in college ran 7.50 16 LTs on his uncut back in the late 70s and they rubbed occasionally. Closest tire.to that is a P255/85/16 these days, I run them on my broncos with 2" body and about an inch of suspension lift and.I have cut.fenders. I don't think even they would fit under an uncut.

Why did you ask if you knew it all already.

I ran a set 600 mi on the road in Tn back during the super celebration with no problems at all...... but then again I have 7.5" total lift and fenders cut almost to the body line..... but they sure ran smooth with some ceramic beads in them! ;)

X2, kinda what I was thinking

I asked if someone ran Q78s on the rear of an uncut and received a response from someone who doesn't, stating that I'd chew up my front fender running a 35x10.50 with a 3.5" lift even though I'm currently running 35x15r15 with a 3.5" lift and zero issues. I would really appreciate input from someone who actually has the setup in question, and not someone who is telling me I can't do on the front what I'm already doing with zero issues.

The narrow wheels will pull them in a bit so if you air them up you may be ok. Im rinning 15x36x15 with 3.5 suspension and 1"'body lift. My fenders are cut but only to old school flares mounted in the correct position. Inhave no body rubbing issues and also my rear susp lift is only a 1"'block so im thinking with your lift and the wheels u may get by. The only real way to see is to find a set mounted and try them on

I'm really sorry. They without a question work. I was so confused. You should go buy a set right away and then post pictures of that bad ass truck of yours.
Go on now, get ya some.

I've got a 76 with uncut front fenders, 3.5" WH suspension lift and 33" BFGs on 8" wheels and they rub hard on the inner front corner when I take a sharp turn. Not sure how 35s clear unless the inner front corner of your fenders have been modified or you have a very stiff suspension. I can't see how Q's would fit unless your rear axle is relocated to center it on the wheel opening. Good luck

I'm running the 34x9.5 tsl on an uncut 3.5" duffs lift, no body lift.

I think I could get 10.5 wide in the back, with just a little self clearancing on articulation.

The front rubs the radius arms now.

Don't ask me my back spacing, I dunno.

Next tires I am going to try and find the 10.5 wide though and see what happens.

What you received was feedback from someone who has a lot of experience with Broncos and was offering help...to which you weren't appreciative. I wish you luck finding "anybody" that has run a Q78 on the back of uncut bronco without 15 inches of lift.
