Question> I have amassed a lot of miscellaneous EB parts but know nothing about selling online or on a site. Suggestions?

I plan on going through some plastic tubs tomorrow to evaluate exactly what I have. I have a green/black back benchseat, I know I have the seat mounting bracket for the passenger side, think the driver side is in my shop somewhere, just didn't see it today. I have a set of original hubcabs, spare tire mount (not a complete thing I don't think, honestly cant remember), air cleaner, valve covers, think I saw a pair of aluminum diamond plate door panels, rear view mirror, not sure what else. Thats just what I can remember seeing while working/cleaning in my shop today. Regardless... my question is.....How is any of these heavy, bulky, odd shaped and heavy items best shipped??? Its not like there is a box to put a bench seat inside of it. Just wondering how you guys ship items you might sell that are similar to the ones I mentioned here.

I recently sold a pile of parts by listing them on here as a "parts bundle".

I see you've found another Bronco in a shed, you might want to wait to advertise the parts till after you see if you get the new toy!;)

I went through my bins during Covid, inventoried what I had and sorted items.
Things like dash stuff together, heater parts, transfer case parts, body parts, etc. Some of the smalls / bolts got de-rusted. And then the hard decisions on what was too far gone and could be tossed/recycled.
Mainly did all that so I could find what I had when I needed things rather than pay the pricing for new and the shipping that continues to rise.

I started selling here on Classic occasionally and paying attention to the parts needed section. As ared77 says Bundling parts together is a good option rather than just selling a lens here or a bolt there...
All the other places can be a pain to deal with tire kickers, FB Marketplace, Craigslist, and eBay. Patience is required.
USPS flat rate boxes are a good option, my Wife has done eBay for a few years so I look to her for guidance at times on shipping. You can establish an account with USPS so you can print off your own label's. You just need a scale for weighing boxes, if you don't use flat rate.

Packing up items... Can be challenging once you deal with big items, like seats. Generally, I try to package items well, so they don't get beat to snot by the shipping folks, as it just seems nobody cares anymore, after all its not their item... There is a fine balance, as you want to protect, not add weight = cost. My wife saves boxes for her eBay sales, so I usually don't have to hunt for a box, just ask for permission to use as she sometimes has boxes earmarked for specific items.

Be prepared for people to ask for price help when it comes to shipping costs, hard to buy an item and have the shipping cost more than the part.

I have also had success selling parts at WH's swap meet which is in October usually, the goal is to come home with less than you came with ;). Not really helpful if you live out of state.
Another option is if you are attending a Bronco event, you can advertise in advance and say pickup can be done at the event.

Hope this helps, Doug.

Ironically the parts lot I sold happened to go down to Miss. if I remember right. It just so happened that the guy who needed my parts has a brother who lives up near me and it all worked out. I'm just saying if you want to move a bunch at one time make it known on CB and you never know! Good luck w the sale.

I know some people will take large items to a freight shipper and ship items (like front ends for example) on a pallet on the buyer's dime. Not sure what all companies do this, but Fastenal comes to mind.... Maybe someone else will chime in if you don't sell it all to Ether...

This is a pic of what I have dug out so far. I am still going through containers looking for anything else I might have. Once I have found everything I will go through it and see what I want to keep and what I will be willing to sell. Just thought I would let y'all see what I have found so far. A lot of this stuff was boxed up during a move a while back and I was kind of in a rush when I boxed it. Thats why its taking me a while to find it all. Patience is a virtue they say.
Anyway, here is the pic. Parts I've found so far.....
