Radio wiring

So I had my original am radio converted to fm.l and had the original connectors put back on it. Installed it back in the bronco. Plugged in the antenna, speakers and the bullet connector for the power. Hooked up a Ground amd turned the key

Nada

Doesn’t appear that I’m getting power to the bullet connector. What am I overlooking?

All fuses have been checked and are good.

I’ve been poking around and I can’t seem to figure out why I’m not letting power to that connector. Can I hook up a wire from the ignition and bypass the whole harness going to the radio? Seems like it would be a whole lot easier

Old harness wiring can break, and no longer pass current. Or a splice can fail. You can always try to trace the wire, wiring diagram in hand, and see if you can find the fault.

Or, as you say, run a new power wire from the ignition switch central pole, so it switches on in the “ACC” position as well as “ON” with a labelled inline fuse close to the switch. Oh, and pull the old fuse as a reminder.
